Upcoming Event: The American Writers Festival
The American Writers Museum is hosting the first ever American Writers Festival on May 15, 2022. Programs will feature over 75 contemporary authors, artists, and playwrights on five stages at both The Chicago Cultural Center and The American Writers Museum throughout the day. The event (which is free to the public) coincides with the 5th anniversary of the American Writers Museum. To further celebrate the occasion, entry to the museum will also be free to the public that day, as well as the following day (Monday, May 16, 2022).

While you are there, make sure to peek in the door of Renaissance Court (on the first floor of the Cultural Center) and wave to me as I run mission control for over 120 enthusiastic volunteers, all working to ensure that this event is fun, welcoming, and running smoothly.
